Our Stainless Steel 316L Nuts are made from a low-carbon variant of 316 stainless steel, containing 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum. The lower carbon content (capped at 0.03%) enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion, particularly after welding. These nuts boast excellent corrosion resistance, a tensile strength ranging from 485–700 MPa, and a yield strength of about 170–290 MPa, with a Brinell hardness of roughly 150–220 HB. The 316L grade maintains its mechanical stability and corrosion protection in acidic, saline, and high-moisture environments, making it an ideal choice for critical applications in chemically aggressive or marine settings.
